The most stunning news of the week was that of the exchange between
Chivas and New England
, sending Sharlie Joseph to Southern California. Joseph has been the face of the Revolution for a decade, taking them to three of New England's four MLS Cup finals in a six year span (though never managing to win that final game). Now, the former Revolution captain will be tasked with earning Chivas their first playoff appearance since 2009.
Also sitting one position out of the playoffs are the

, who made one of the biggest moves in the club's history with the
